St. Bernard Vikings (Playa del Rey, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the visiting Vasquez Mustangs (Acton, CA), 2-0 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Bernard upgrades its record to 4-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Bishop Montgomery (Torrance, CA) to meet the Knights in a Camino Real match on Friday, October 17. The Knights come into the match with a record of 0-4. Bishop Montgomery lost 2-0 in their recent league match against Bosco Tech (Rosemead, CA)

Coming up next, the Mustangs meet the Nuview Bridge Knights (Nuevo, CA) in a Manzanita match, on Friday, October 17. Vasquez will attempt to upgrade on its 6-1 season record.
