The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Van Horn Falcons (Independence, MO) and the host Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Lee's Summit, MO), witnessed Van Horn's football squad edge Summit Christian Academy by a tally of 35-32.

The Falcons (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against University Academy Charter (Kansas City, MO). The Gryphons enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, University Academy Charter got by KIPP Legacy (Kansas City, MO), 49-0, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles battle the Pembroke Hill Raiders (Kansas City, MO) in a Crossroads bout, on Friday, October 17. Summit Christian Academy will attempt to advance on its 1-5 season record.
