California High School Football - Hilltop thwarted by Southwest SD
October 10, 2025: San Diego, CA 92154 Southwest SD Raiders (San Diego, CA) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA), 17-7 in a non-league battle.
With the win, Southwest SD advances its record to 6-1 on the season. The Raiders travel to Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA) to play the Mariners in a battle on Friday, October 17. The Mariners go into the battle with a record of 3-4. Mar Vista lost 26-21 in their recent non-league battle against Bonita Vista (Chula Vista, CA)
The Lancers now have a 1-6 record. They play next when they host Bonita Vista for a battle on Thursday, October 16. Hilltop will play a Barons team coming off a 26-21 non-league win over Mar Vista (Imperial Beach, CA). The Barons record now stands at 3-4.
