Illinois High School Soccer - Solorio knocks off Catalyst-Maria
October 10, 2025: Chicago, IL 60632 Solorio Sun Warriors (Chicago, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Catalyst-Maria Wolves (Chicago, IL), 5-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Solorio moves its record to 9-6 on the campaign. The Sun Warriors travel to Muchin College Prep (Chicago, IL) to meet the Mountain Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, October 21. The Mountain Lions come into the test with a record of 9-11.
The Wolves now sport a 3-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Air Force Academy for a non-league test on Friday, October 17. Catalyst-Maria will meet a Falcons team coming off a 5-0 league loss to Horizon Science Academy-Southwest (Chicago, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 2-4.
