Illinois High School Soccer - Romeoville nudged by Glenbard West
October 10, 2025: Glen Ellyn, IL 60137 Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Romeoville Spartans (Romeoville, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Glenbard West moves its record to 16-6 on the campaign. The Hilltoppers travel to Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL) to meet the Red Devils in a West Suburban - Silver test on Tuesday, October 14. The Red Devils come into the test with a record of 7-11. Hinsdale Central won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Argo (Summit, IL)
The Spartans now possess a 9-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Joliet West for a Suburban Prairie outing on Tuesday, October 14. Romeoville will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 1-0 league loss to Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 7-9.
