In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Princeton Tigers volleyball team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Canby Lancers.

The Tigers (16-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Monticello (Monticello, MN). The Magic come into the non-league challenge with a 16-6 record. In their last challenge, Monticello edged Zimmerman (Zimmerman, MN), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Lancers play the Rocori Spartans (Cold Spring, MN) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 10. Canby will attempt to upgrade on its 18-10 season record.
