In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Chicago University Maroons volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Joliet Central Steelmen.

The Maroons (12-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Jones (Chicago, IL). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 12-12 record. In their last challenge, Jones beat De La Salle (Chicago, IL), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.
