Colchester Lakers (Colchester, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Vermont Commons Flying Turtles (South Burlington, VT), 3-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Colchester improves its record to 7-4 on the season. The Lakers travel to Rice Memorial (South Burlington, VT) to face the Green Knights in a non-league test on Monday, October 13. The Green Knights go into the test with a record of 5-6. Rice Memorial lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Champlain Valley Union (Hinesburg, VT)

Next, the Flying Turtles meet the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) in a Division 2 challenge, on Monday, October 13. Vermont Commons will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
