Fans at Friday's non-league contest between the Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ) and the host Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ), observed Florence's volleyball squad notch a victory over Mogollon by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Florence improves its record to 16-9 on the season. The Gophers travel to Chandler Prep (Chandler, AZ) to encounter the Titans in a non-league battle on Friday, October 10. The Titans go into the battle with a record of 5-11. Chandler Prep lost 3-0 in their recent non-league battle against Phoenix Country Day (Paradise Valley, AZ)
