In Friday's non-league match, the Greely Rangers (Cumberland Center, ME) volleyball squad overcame the host Mount Desert Island Trojans (Mount Desert, ME), by a count of 3-1.

Next up, the Rangers battle the Messalonskee Eagles (Oakland, ME) in a Class B match, on Tuesday, October 14. Greely will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles go into the battle with a 8-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Cape Elizabeth (Cape Elizabeth, ME).

The Trojans now own a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brewer for a Class B battle on Tuesday, October 14. Mount Desert Island will encounter a Witches squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Washington Academy (East Machias, ME). The Witches record now stands at 8-4.
