October 11, 2022: Washington, DC 20015 St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) supporters were pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer team overwhelm the visiting Archbishop Carroll Lions (Washington, DC), 12-0 in a league challenge.
Next, the Cadets confront the Bishop McNamara Mustangs (Forestville, MD) in a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge, on Thursday, October 13. St. John's will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 14-0 record after their 1-1 league Gonzaga (Washington, DC).
The Lions now possess a 1-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeMatha for a Washington Catholic (WCAC) challenge on Thursday, October 13. Archbishop Carroll will confront a Stags team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Our Lady of Good Counsel (Olney, MD). The Stags record now stands at 3-2.
