The Peninsula Catholic (Newport News, VA) varsity volleyball team won Tuesday's home conference match against Walsingham Academy (Williamsburg, VA) by a score of 3-0.
The Peninsula Catholic Knight volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Walsingham Academy Trojans to 0 in the Knight league victory on Tuesday.
The Knight now have a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hampton Roads Academy for a VISAA Division 2 game on Thursday, October 13. Peninsula Catholic will confront a Navigators team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Catholic (Virginia Beach, VA). The Navigators record now stands at 2-9.
The Trojans (0-15) will now prepare for their game against Norfolk Collegiate (Norfolk, VA). The Mighty Oaks enter the VISAA Division 2 game with a 5-4 record. In their last game, Norfolk Collegiate gained a win over Isle of Wight Academy (Isle of Wight, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
