October 11, 2023: La Mesa, CA 91941 The Santana Sultans football team (Santee, CA), was beaten 18-7 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Helix Highlanders (La Mesa, CA)
The Highlanders (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Eagles come into the challenge with a 8-0 record. In their last challenge, Granite Hills achieved victory over Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA), 35-7, in a league challenge.
The Sultans now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Grossmont for a challenge on Thursday, October 19. Santana will meet a Foothillers team coming off a 14-0 league win over West Hills (Santee, CA). The Foothillers record now stands at 7-1.
