October 11, 2023: Cumberland, VA 23040 The Cumberland Dukes football team (Cumberland, VA), was ripped 46-12 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Amelia County Raiders (Amelia Court House, VA)
The Raiders (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Statesmen come into the non-league challenge with a 3-4 record. In their last challenge, Randolph-Henry was ripped by Buckingham (Buckingham, VA), 22-12, in a non-league challenge.
The Dukes now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lunenburg Central for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, October 18. Cumberland will meet a Chargers team coming off a 46-27 non-league win over Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA). The Chargers record now stands at 7-0.
