October 11, 2023: Birch Run, MI 48415 The Freeland Falcons topped the host Birch Run Panthers volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Wednesday's league test.
The Falcons now have a 19-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ovid-Elsie for a non-league test on Tuesday, October 17. Freeland will confront a Marauders squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Hanover-Horton (Horton, MI). The Marauders record now stands at 14-13.
With the loss, Birch Run drops to 9-11 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Frankenmuth (Frankenmuth, MI) to clash with the Eagles in a Tri-Valley - East match on Wednesday, October 18. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 26-9. Frankenmuth lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Jenison (Jenison, MI)
