October 11, 2023: Plaquemine, LA 70764 Doyle Tigers (Livingston, LA) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host St. John Eagles (Plaquemine, LA), 3-1 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Tigers battle the St. Helena College and Career Academy Hawks (Greensburg, LA) in a Division IV District 4 match, on Thursday, October 12. Doyle will attempt to advance on its 12-14 season record. The Hawks come into the match with a 0-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Amite (Amite, LA).
With the loss, St. John drops to 12-12 on the campaign. The Eagles host Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA) to battle the Flames in a non-league match on Saturday, October 14. The Flames come into the match with a record of 8-4.
