October 11, 2023: St. Joseph, IL 61873 The St. Joseph-Ogden Spartans volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Fisher Bunnies to 0 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now have a 25-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Villa Grove for a non-league game on Monday, October 16. St. Joseph-Ogden will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 2-1 league win over Cerro Gordo/Bement (Cerro Gordo, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 15-10.
The Bunnies (7-15) will now prepare for their game against LeRoy (LeRoy, IL). The Panthers enter the Heart of Illinois game with a 14-10 record. In their last game, LeRoy gained a win over Flanagan-Cornell (Flanagan, IL), 2-0, in a league game.
