In Wednesday's league contest, the Unionville Longhorns (Kennett Square, PA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Sun Valley Vanguards (Aston, PA), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Longhorns battle the Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 13. Unionville will attempt to better on its 19-1 season record. The Pioneers come into the contest with a 10-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA).

With the loss, Sun Valley drops to 13-5 on the campaign. The Vanguards travel to Downingtown East (Exton, PA) to battle the Cougars in a Ches-Mont contest on Tuesday, October 17. The Cougars come into the contest with a record of 10-8. Downingtown East lost 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Owen J. Roberts (Pottstown, PA)
