Pennsylvania High School Football - Montour wallops Ambridge
October 11, 2024: Ambridge, PA 15003 The Montour Spartans football squad scored 47 points and limited the host Ambridge Bridgers to 13 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.
The Spartans now sport a 8-0 record. They take the field next when they host Aliquippa for a WPIAL AAAA Parkway test on Friday, October 18. Montour will meet a Quips squad coming off a 48-13 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA). The Quips record now stands at 6-1.
With the defeat, Ambridge drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Bridgers travel to New Castle (New Castle, PA) to meet the Hurricanes in a WPIAL AAAA Parkway test on Friday, October 18. The Hurricanes come into the test with a record of 4-3. New Castle lost 32-8 in their recent league test against West Allegheny (Imperial, PA)
