North Carolina High School Football - Hoggard beat Ashley

October 11, 2024: Wilmington, NC 28412

The Hoggard Vikings football squad scored 35 points and limited the host Ashley Screaming Eagle to 27 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Topsail for a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Friday, October 18. Hoggard will meet a Pirates squad coming off a 42-20 league win over South Brunswick (Southport, NC). The Pirates record now stands at 4-2.

With the defeat, Ashley drops to 5-2 on the campaign. The Screaming eagle travel to South Brunswick (Southport, NC) to meet the Cougars in a Mideastern 3A/4A test on Friday, October 18. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-6. South Brunswick lost 42-20 in their recent league test against Topsail (Hampstead, NC)
