In Friday's league game, the Bald Eagle Area Eagles (Wingate, PA) football team edged the visiting Greater Johnstown Trojans (Johnstown, PA), by a tally of 32-26.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Bellwood-Antis Blue Devils (Bellwood, PA) in a Laurel Highlands game, on Friday, October 18. Bald Eagle Area will attempt to better on its 4-4 season record. The Blue Devils enter the game with a 5-3 record after their 45-6 league loss to Penn Cambria (Cresson, PA).

The Trojans (2-6) will now prepare for their game against Bedford (Bedford, PA). The Bisons enter the Laurel Highlands game with a 6-2 record. In their last game, Bedford held off Central (Martinsburg, PA), 34-27, in a league game.
