In their next game, the Bears face the Sierra Blanca Vaqueros (Sierra Blanca, TX) in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 5 (6 Man) challenge, on Friday, October 18. Balmorhea will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Vaqueros go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 44-36 league win over Sanderson (Sanderson, TX).
The Indians (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Grandfalls-Royalty (Grandfalls, TX). The Cowboys go into the 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 5 (6 Man) challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Grandfalls-Royalty toppled Marfa (Marfa, TX), 62-60, in a non-league challenge.
