October 11, 2024: Rowena, TX 76875 The Blackwell Hornets football squad scored 66 points and limited the host Olfen Mustangs to 0 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.
The Hornets now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Loraine for a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 18. Blackwell will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 62-61 league loss to Bronte (Bronte, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-4.
With the defeat, Olfen drops to 0-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs travel to Trent (Trent, TX) to meet the Gorillas in a 1A 6 Man 2 Region II District 6 (6 Man) test on Friday, October 18. The Gorillas come into the test with a record of 3-3. Trent won 84-62 in their recent non-league test against Moran (Moran, TX)
