In Friday's league match, the visiting Hyannis Longhorns football squad scored a decisive 66-22 triumph over the Brady Eagles.

The Longhorns (4-3) will now prepare for their match against Sandhills/Thedford (Dunning, NE). The Knights come into the D2 District 9 (8 Man) match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Sandhills/Thedford routed Mullen (Mullen, NE), 76-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Eagles meet the Maxwell Wildcats (Maxwell, NE) in a D2 District 9 (8 Man) match, on Thursday, October 17. Brady will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record. The Wildcats come into the match with a 3-4 record after their 66-28 league win over Bayard (Bayard, NE).
