The Braxton County Eagles football team (Sutton, WV), was crushed 42-0 in Friday's non-league bout with the host Nicholas County Grizzlies (Summersville, WV)

With the win, Nicholas County advances its record to 4-2 on the season. The Grizzlies travel to Greenbrier East (Lewisburg, WV) to encounter the Spartans in a Coalfield AA bout on Friday, October 18. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Greenbrier East lost 21-14 in their recent league bout against Oak Hill (Oak Hill, WV)

The Eagles now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they host Calhoun for a Little Kanawha bout on Friday, October 25.
