October 11, 2024: Hancock, MI 49930 The Calumet Copper Kings felled the host Hancock Bulldogs football team by a score of 47-18 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Copper Kings face the Gladstone Braves (Gladstone, MI) in a Western Peninsula - Copper challenge, on Friday, October 18. Calumet will attempt to improve on its 4-3 season record. The Braves go into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 42-17 league loss to Houghton (Houghton, MI).
The Bulldogs (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Westwood (Ishpeming, MI). The Patriots go into the Western Peninsula - Copper challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Westwood lost by Kingsford (Kingsford, MI), 34-6, in a league challenge.
