The Central Red Devils got by the visiting Carver Montgomery Wolverines football team by a score of 31-26 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Red Devils face the Opelika Bulldogs (Opelika, AL) in a 7A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, October 18. Central will attempt to improve on its 6-1 season record. The Bulldogs go into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 30-13 league win over Enterprise (Enterprise, AL).

The Wolverines (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Auburn (Auburn, AL). The Tigers go into the 7A Region 2 challenge with a 7-0 record. In their last challenge, Auburn nipped Smiths Station (Smiths, AL), 70-6, in a league challenge.
