In Friday's league game, the Elmwood-Murdock Knights (Murdock, NE) football team triumphed over the host Cedar Bluffs Wildcats (Cedar Bluffs, NE), by a tally of 58-14.

In their next game, the Knights face the Weeping Water Indians (Weeping Water, NE) in a D2 District 1 (8 Man) game, on Thursday, October 17. Elmwood-Murdock will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Indians enter the game with a 6-1 record after their 52-11 league win over Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer (Humboldt, NE).
