Missouri High School Football - Scott City thwarted by Charleston
October 11, 2024: Scott City, MO 63780 Charleston Bluejays (Charleston, MO) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Scott City Rams (Scott City, MO), 44-35 in a league battle.
With the win, Charleston improves its record to 5-2 on the season. The Bluejays host East Prairie (East Prairie, MO) to play the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 4-2. East Prairie won 40-20 in their recent league battle against Kelly (Benton, MO)
The Rams now have a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Chaffee for a SE Missouri - West battle on Friday, October 18. Scott City will play a Red Devils team coming off a 70-28 non-league win over Veritas Christian Academy (O'Fallon, MO). The Red Devils record now stands at 1-6.
