With the win, Clayton advances its record to 7-0 on the season. The Comets host Corinth Holders (Wendell, NC) to play the Pirates in a Greater Neuse River 4A battle on Friday, October 18. The Pirates go into the battle with a record of 6-1. Corinth Holders won 22-21 in their recent league battle against Fuquay - Varina (Fuquay-Varina, NC)
