Maryland High School Football - Mountain Ridge overwhelmed by Fort Hill

October 11, 2024: Frostburg, MD 21532

In Friday's league game, the Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD) football team triumphed over the host Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD), by a score of 56-3.

In their next game, the Sentinels face the East/World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, October 19. Fort Hill will attempt to improve on its 4-2 season record. The go into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 48-21 league win over Brockport (Brockport, NY).

The Miners (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Northern (Accident, MD). The Huskies go into the Western Maryland challenge with a 3-3 record. In their last challenge, Northern bounced Uniontown (Uniontown, PA), 58-6, in a non-league challenge.
