Mildred Eagles (Corsicana, TX) followers went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Frankston Indians (Frankston, TX), 45-20 in a league battle.

With the win, Mildred advances its record to 6-0 on the season. The Eagles host Cayuga (Cayuga, TX) to play the Wildcats in a 2A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 18. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 3-3. Cayuga won 44-41 in their recent league battle against Carlisle (Price, TX)

The Indians now own a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Kerens for a 2A-1 Region II District 8 battle on Friday, October 18. Frankston will play a Bobcats team coming off a 40-7 league win over Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 3-3.
