South Carolina High School Football - Marlboro County smashes Georgetown
October 11, 2024: Georgetown, SC 29440 The Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) football trounced the host Georgetown Bulldogs (Georgetown, SC), 64-15 in Friday's league outing.
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dillon for a AAA Region 5 outing on Friday, October 18. Marlboro County will clash with a Wildcats squad coming off a 49-7 league win over Aynor (Aynor, SC). The Wildcats record now stands at 5-2.
With the defeat, Georgetown drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Loris (Loris, SC) to clash with the Lions in a AAA Region 5 outing on Friday, October 18. The Lions come into the outing with a record of 6-1. Loris won 40-14 in their recent league outing against Waccamaw (Pawley's Island, SC)
