Grants Pass Cavemen (Grants Pass, OR) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Liberty Falcons (Hillsboro, OR), 52-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Grants Pass improves its record to 5-1 on the season. The Cavemen host Sprague (Salem, OR) to play the Olympians in a 6A Special District 1 battle on Friday, October 18. The Olympians go into the battle with a record of 7-0. Sprague won 28-24 in their recent league battle against South Medford (Medford, OR)

The Falcons now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Newberg for a 6A Pacific battle on Friday, October 18. Liberty will play a Tigers team coming off a 24-21 league win over McMinnville (McMinnville, OR). The Tigers record now stands at 3-4.
