Virginia High School Football - Lakeland falls to Great Bridge
October 11, 2024: Suffolk, VA 23434 The Great Bridge Wildcats felled the host Lakeland Cavaliers football team by a score of 33-6 in Friday's league challenge.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) in a Southeastern challenge, on Friday, October 18. Great Bridge will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record. The Bruins go into the challenge with a 2-4 record after their 16-12 league win over Deep Creek (Chesapeake, VA).
The Cavaliers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Bulldogs go into the Southeastern challenge with a 6-0 record. In their last challenge, King's Fork toppled Grassfield (Chesapeake, VA), 38-14, in a league challenge.
