Maryland High School Football - High Point can't hold off Oxon Hill
October 11, 2024: Beltsville, MD 20705 Oxon Hill Clippers (Oxon Hill, MD) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team tip the host High Point Eagles (Beltsville, MD), 2-0 in a league battle.
With the win, Oxon Hill improves its record to 3-3 on the season. The Clippers travel to Northwestern (Hyattsville, MD) to play the Wildcats in a Prince George's County 4A/3A battle on Friday, October 18. The Wildcats go into the battle with a record of 1-5. Northwestern lost 55-8 in their recent league battle against Suitland (Forestville, MD)
The Eagles now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Laurel for a Prince George's County 4A/3A battle on Friday, October 18. High Point will play a Spartans team coming off a 32-3 league loss to Parkdale (Riverdale, MD). The Spartans record now stands at 1-5.
