The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Pigeon Forge Tigers (Pigeon Forge, TN) and the visiting Meigs County Tigers (Decatur, TN), witnessed Pigeon Forge's football squad edge Meigs County by a tally of 15-14.

The Tigers (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Austin-East (Knoxville, TN). The Roadrunners enter the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Austin-East was nudged by Roane County (Kingston, TN), 49-35, in a league contest.

Coming up next, the Tigers confront the Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 18. Meigs County will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Wildcats enter the contest with a 4-3 record after their 21-14 league loss to Bledsoe County (Pikeville, TN).
