The Rockridge Rockets football squad scored 34 points and limited the visiting Mercer County Golden Eagles to 6 in the Rockets league triumph on Friday.

The Rockets now hold a 5-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Monmouth-Roseville for a non-league test on Friday, October 18. Rockridge will meet a Titans squad coming off a 35-14 league win over Hall/Putnam County (Spring Valley, IL). The Titans record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Mercer County drops to 3-4 on the campaign. The Golden eagles travel to Princeton (Princeton, IL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league test on Friday, October 18. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 6-1. Princeton won 57-14 in their recent league test against Mendota (Mendota, IL)
