The crowd at Friday's league contest between the NorthPointe Christian Mustangs (Grand Rapids, MI) and the host New Buffalo Bison (New Buffalo, MI), witnessed NorthPointe Christian's football squad knock off New Buffalo by a tally of 56-30.

The Mustangs (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Calvin Christian (Grandville, MI). The Squires enter the Southwestern Michigan I (8 Man) contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Calvin Christian gained a win over St. Charles (St. Charles, MI), 26-22, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Bison battle the Eau Claire Beavers (Eau Claire, MI) in a non-league contest, on Friday, October 18. New Buffalo will attempt to better on its 1-6 season record. The Beavers enter the contest with a 2-5 record after their 65-30 league loss to Marcellus (Marcellus, MI).
