Iowa High School Football - Osage triumphant over Waukon
October 11, 2024: Osage, IA 50461 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Osage Green Devils (Osage, IA) and the visiting Waukon Indians (Waukon, IA), witnessed Osage's football squad wallop Waukon by a tally of 42-6.
The Green Devils (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oelwein (Oelwein, IA). The Huskies enter the 2A District 3 contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Oelwein was trounced by North Fayette Valley (West Union, IA), 2-0, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Indians confront the New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) in a 2A District 3 contest, on Friday, October 18. Waukon will attempt to better on its 3-5 season record. The Chickasaws enter the contest with a 1-5 record after their 28-27 league loss to Crestwood (Cresco, IA).
