The Woodland Regional Hawks football squad scored 43 points and limited the host Oxford Wolverines to 6 in the Hawks non-league triumph on Friday.
The Hawks now hold a 4-1 record. They take the field next when they host Naugatuck for a Naugatuck Valley - Copper test on Friday, October 25. Woodland Regional will meet a Greyhounds squad coming off a 49-7 league win over Gilbert/Northwestern/Housatonic (Winsted, CT). The Greyhounds record now stands at 5-0.
With the defeat, Oxford drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Wolverines travel to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT) to meet the Falcons in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass test on Friday, October 25. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-4. St. Paul Catholic won 41-0 in their recent league test against Wilby (Waterbury, CT)
