Sumner-Eddyville-Miller Mustangs (Sumner, NE) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Paxton Tigers (Paxton, NE), 44-21 in a league battle.

With the win, Sumner-Eddyville-Miller improves its record to 6-0 on the season. The Mustangs host Southwest (Bartley, NE) to play the Roughriders in a D6 District 4 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. The Roughriders go into the battle with a record of 4-2. Southwest won 41-39 in their recent league battle against Wauneta-Palisade (Wauneta, NE)

The Tigers now have a 3-3 record. They play next when they host Medicine Valley for a D6 District 4 (6 Man) battle on Friday, October 18. Paxton will play a Raiders team coming off a 14-12 league loss to Wallace (Wallace, NE). The Raiders record now stands at 0-6.
