The Straughn Tigers (Andalusia, AL) football knocked off the host Pike County Bulldogs (Brundidge, AL), 24-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Tigers now sport a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host New Brockton for a 4A Region 2 outing on Friday, October 18. Straughn will clash with a Gamecocks squad coming off a 41-0 league loss to Ashford (Ashford, AL). The Gamecocks record now stands at 3-5.

With the defeat, Pike County drops to 3-5 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Dale County (Midland City, AL) to clash with the Warriors in a 4A Region 2 outing on Friday, October 18. The Warriors come into the outing with a record of 6-2. Dale County won 42-12 in their recent league outing against Daleville (Daleville, AL)
