The Royal Oak Ravens felled the visiting Pontiac Phoenix football team by a score of 38-12 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Ravens face the Groves Falcons (Beverly Hills, MI) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, October 18. Royal Oak will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Falcons go into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 42-12 league win over Southfield Arts & Tech (Southfield, MI).

The Phoenix (1-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Harper Woods (Harper Woods, MI). The Pioneers go into the non-league challenge with a 4-3 record. In their last challenge, Harper Woods toppled Rochester (Rochester Hills, MI), 44-15, in a league challenge.
