California High School Football - Sanger West sneaks past Torres

The Sanger West Hornets football squad scored 40 points and limited the visiting Torres Toros to 37 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now sport a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host McLane for a North Yosemite test on Friday, October 18. Sanger West will meet a Highlanders squad coming off a 42-14 league win over Roosevelt (Fresno, CA). The Highlanders record now stands at 7-0.

With the defeat, Torres drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Toros host Hoover (Fresno, CA) to meet the Patriots in a North Yosemite test on Friday, October 18. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 3-4. Hoover lost 57-6 in their recent league test against Sunnyside (Fresno, CA)
