New York High School Soccer - Coxsackie-Athens knocks off Salem
October 11, 2024: Coxsackie, NY 12051 In Friday's non-league outing, the host Coxsackie-Athens Riverhawks soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Salem Generals.
The Riverhawks (8-5) will now prepare for their outing against Hoosick Falls (Hoosick Falls, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league outing with a 3-10 record. In their last outing, Hoosick Falls got by Hoosic Valley (Schaghticoke, NY), 4-3, in a league outing.
Next up, the Generals play the Whitehall Railroaders (Whitehall, NY) in a non-league outing, on Monday, October 14. Salem will attempt to improve on its 2-11 season record. The Railroaders go into the outing with a 7-4 record after their 4-1 non-league win over Saratoga Central Catholic (Saratoga Springs, NY).
