Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) fans went home in high spirits Friday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the visiting Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA), 33-24 in a league battle.

With the win, Verdugo Hills improves its record to 3-2 on the season. The Dons travel to Grant (Van Nuys, CA) to play the Lancers in a non-league battle on Friday, October 18. The Lancers go into the battle with a record of 0-3. Grant lost 42-6 in their recent league battle against North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA)

The Parrots now have a 5-2 record. They play next when they host Arleta for a battle on Friday, October 18. Poly will play a Mustangs team coming off a 21-12 league win over Verdugo Hills (Tujunga, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-1.
