In their next game, the Spartans face the Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA) in a challenge, on Friday, October 18. Sylmar will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 5-2 record after their 41-0 league win over Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA).
The Tigers (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA). The Wolfpack enter the non-league challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Maywood CES was edged by Norwalk (Norwalk, CA), 56-0, in a non-league challenge.
