California High School Football - West Valley tops Yreka
October 11, 2024: Cottonwood, CA 96022 The West Valley Eagles football squad scored 20 points and limited the visiting Yreka Miners to 8 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now hold a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Central Valley for a test on Friday, October 18. West Valley will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 10-0 league loss to University Prep (Redding, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 0-6.
With the defeat, Yreka drops to 3-2 on the campaign. The Miners host Anderson (Anderson, CA) to meet the Cubs in a bout on Friday, October 18. The Cubs go into the bout with a record of 3-2. Anderson lost 46-8 in their recent league bout against Lassen (Susanville, CA)
