Illinois High School Soccer - Lincoln-Way West knocks off Beecher
October 11, 2024: New Lenox, IL 60451 Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the Lincoln-Way West Warriors (New Lenox, IL) and the visiting Beecher Bobcats (Beecher, IL), saw Lincoln-Way West's soccer squad prevail over Beecher by a count of 5-1.
The Warriors (9-7) will now prepare for their battle against Lincoln-Way East (Frankfort, IL). The Griffins enter the SouthWest Suburban Blue battle with a 13-4 record. In their last battle, Lincoln-Way East Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 1-1, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Bobcats battle the Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers (Bradley, IL) in a non-league battle, on Wednesday, October 16. Beecher will attempt to upgrade on its 20-4 season record. The Boilermakers enter the battle with a 7-11 record after their 2-1 league loss to Sandburg (Orland Park, IL).
